WALT:
1.Compare and contrast poems using personification.
2. Write our own poem using personification.
Success Criteria:1.Can say which is their favorite poem and why, referring to personification.
Task 1 - Have a look at the poems on this site.
Using a 'Compare and Contrast, template choose 2 poems and identify the different examples of personification within them, their similarities and differences.
Once you have completed this task you are to comment on this blog saying which is your favorite poem and why, referring to personification.
Task 2 - On a word document start brain storming objects to do with war, then come up with examples of personification for them.
I like "Winter Morning" by Ogden Nash because its like winter is a baker or a cake decorater.

DeleteI chose "Winter Morning" by Ogden Nash and "Is The Moon Tired?" By Christina Rossetti. I personally think that Winter morning is better, First, my favourite season is winter, i like how it's rhymes are interesting and descriptive, the poem flows and it's not too short. The personification in this poem were not too hard to understand which made it more pleasing and flowy to read it

I think "Winter Morning" is a great poem because of all of the descriptive language, and the way they describe the surrounding thingys :)

ReplyDeleteBecause the "Fog" is talking about trueabout fog, just talkung different ways. But "My River" is using old word so i could not read so I like "Fog better.
